ST. CLAIR COUNTY RECEIVES $300,000 GRANT TO IMPROVE COMMUNITY HEALTH
The Illinois Department of Public Health is awarding $3.5 million in We Choose Health grants to communities in 60 counties in Illinois, including $300,000 to the St. Clair County Health Department to work with community partners to develop safe routes to schools, strengthen school health education and nutrition services, and promote smoke-free policies in multi-unit housing facilities.
